Blackhawks acquire Dominik Kubalík from Kings

The Chicago Blackhawks made one move on Thursday in what could turn into a busy few weeks on the phones for Stan Bowman.

The Blackhawks added Dominik Kubalik from the Los Angeles Kings for a fifth-round pick in the 2019 NHL draft. The pick was originally acquired from Arizona.

The 23 year-old forward leads the national league in Switzerland with 43 points and is tied for fourth in goals with 18. He will finish his season in Switzerland before deciding to join the Blackhawks.

Kubalik represented the Czech Republic at the 2018 World Championships and notched 3 goals and 5 assists.
