The Chicago Blackhawks have recalled goaltender Collin Delia from the Rockford Ice Hogs. They have also reassigned goaltender Jean Francois Berube with their AHL affiliate.
Delia, who signed a two year entry-level deal with the Blackhawks after training camp last year, has compiled a 14-6-4 record with the Ice Hogs. He has a 2.68 goals against average and a .904 save percentage in 24 games with Rockford. He leads all rookie goaltenders in wins in the AHL. He is 23 years old and is listed as 6 foot 2 inches and 200 pounds.
Berube, 26, started this season with Rockford, posting a 7-8-0 record with a 2.37 GAA. He was recalled by Chicago on February 15, and made his on February 23 with a 3-1 win over the San Jose Sharks. Since then, Berube has posted a 2-5-1 record with the Blackhawks, with a 3.93 GAA and .891 save percentage.
Delia will back up Anton Forsberg Thursday night versus the Winnipeg Jets. He will likely start the following night against the Colorado Avalanche.
