Blackhawks recall Delia, reassign Berube

The Chicago Blackhawks have recalled goaltender Collin Delia from the Rockford Ice Hogs.  They have also reassigned goaltender Jean Francois Berube with their AHL affiliate.

Delia, who signed a two year entry-level deal with the Blackhawks after training camp last year, has compiled a 14-6-4 record with the Ice Hogs.  He has a 2.68 goals against average and a .904 save percentage in 24 games with Rockford.  He leads all rookie goaltenders in wins in the AHL.  He is 23 years old and is listed as 6 foot 2 inches and 200 pounds.

Berube, 26, started this season with Rockford, posting a 7-8-0 record with a 2.37 GAA.  He was recalled by Chicago on February 15, and made his on February 23 with a 3-1 win over the San Jose Sharks.  Since then, Berube has posted a 2-5-1 record with the Blackhawks, with a 3.93 GAA and .891 save percentage.

Delia will back up Anton Forsberg Thursday night versus the Winnipeg Jets.  He will likely start the following night against the Colorado Avalanche.
