Blackhawks host Sharks to close out homestand

The Chicago Blackhawks will host the San Jose Sharks tonight at the United Center.

The Blackhawks will close a five-game homestand tonight.  This comes in the heels of a 3-2 shootout win against the Ottawa Senators Wednesday night.  The Hawks have gone 2-2-0 in their last four games on home ice.

Blackhawks lines at practice this morning:

Although still not mathematically eliminated, it would take a miracle of a run for these Blackhawks to eke themselves into the Big Dance.  Tommy Wingels and Tomas Jurco have been given top six minutes as of late.  They are most likely being “showcased” as part of Stan Bowman’s possible moves at the trade deadline.

Jean Francois Berube will get his first start of the regular season tonight.  He came in relief of Anton Forsberg on Dec. 6th, 2017, where he saved 12 out of 14 shots he faced in a 6-2 loss against the Washington Capitals.  Berube was called up last week after spending most of the season with the Rockford IceHogs.
