Rajon Rondo out with Thumb Fracture

No Rajon Rondo, no problem? We may have said that a few months ago, but what he has given this Bulls team in the playoffs, this is a tough.

The Bulls announced Friday morning that Rondo fractured his thumb in game 2 in Boston and is out indefinitely. It won’t require surgery.

Rondo averaged 11.5PPG, 10APG, and 8.5RPG in the first two games of the series.

With Rondo out, I expect Bulls head coach Fred Hoiberg to start Michael Carter-Williams. Jerian Grant has not played well at all this series. Also, MCW is the better defensive match-up to guard Celtics point guard Isaiah Thomas.

Game three is tonight at the United Center at 6pm CT.
