Chicago Bears cornerback Deiondre’ Hall was arrested Sunday night in Cedar Falls, Iowa when police officers responded to a fight outside a bar.
Green Bay Packers cornerback Makinton Dorleant, teammate of Hall’s at Northern Iowa, was also arrested.
Hall was arrested and cited for disorderly conduct, public intoxication and interference. Dorleant, who appeared in four games for the Packers last season, was cited for interference.
According to Cedar Falls police, Hall did not respond to police instructions and spat in the officer’s face. Then, the officer had to use a Taser in Hall’s legs in order to get him inside the cop car.
The Chicago Bears have not yet responded to an email requesting a comment on the incident.
